Terraces

There are two terraces at Dar-Tus. Each provides a different atmosphere: one is shady and completely private from any onlookers; the other is sunny and has an indescribable view over Gibraltar.

The former, protected with its canisses and green with plants, can be used for many things: you can eat there (thanks to the little summer kitchen and its facilities: crockery, cutlery, glasses, a kettle), or you can relax there in the quiet and away from the sun, but with a sneaky view over the medina roofs and the door of Tangiers.

By going up a small iron staircase, you can reach the second terrace just above. Here, you’ll be bowled over by the panoramic view of the town, the bay, the port and the Spanish coastline in the distance. When the weather is clear, you can see the rock of Gibraltar. You can just sunbathe here and soak up the view.
